Pianist So-Mang Jeagal performed in many international music festivals and concert series at major concert halls, such as Salzburger Schloss Konzerte, Konzerthaus (Germany), La Madeleine (France), Seoul Arts Center, J. F. Kennedy Center and Walt Disney Concert Hall. Mr. Jeagal won First Prizes at the Washington International Piano Competition and Liszt International Music Competition in 2014. As a winner of the competition, Mr. Jeagal presented solo recitals of the music of Liszt at the prestigious Liszt Ferenc Museum and Research Center in Budapest and the Hungarian Cultural Center in London. He was also invited to give a solo recital at the Newport Music Festival in Rhode Island. Mr. Jeagal was born in Daegu, South Korea. He began studying the piano at the age of five and gave his debut recital at the age of eleven. He received the Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees with highest honors from the Seoul National University. He graduated Artist Diploma at the Thornton School of Music of USC as a full scholarship student under the tutelage of Professor Kevin Fitz-Gerald. Mr. Jeagal has participated in Masterclasses with eminent concert pianists Leon Fleisher, Murray Perahia, John O’Conor, Klaus Hellwig, Hiroko Nakamura and Hae-sun Paik.

 

Hailed by Boston Globe as "heavenly with remarkable charming tones... an absolutely, genuine poet" pianist Hye Won Souh is a performer known for her exceptional musicality with virtuosity. Ms. Souh has won prestigious international competitions, including Grand Prize at the Johannes Brahms Association Competition, 1st prize at the M. T. N. A. National Competition (Massachusetts), and winner of the NEC Philharmonic Orchestra Concerto Competition and the BSO Concerto Competition. Souh has appeared in many of the world's concert venues and festivals such Yellow Barn Music Festival in Vermont, New Hampshire Music Festival, Seoul National University Veritas Ensemble Series, Sejong Cultural Center and Seoul Performing Arts Center. Her career has taken her throughout the nation and internationally. She has also drawn national media attention in Korea and her solo and chamber music concerts were sponsored by the major broadcasting system such as MBC and YBS. Chosen as the best Brahms player of her generation, she gave a solo recital of Johannes Brahms music at the Kumho Art Hall which was presented by Korea- German Brahms Association. Born in Seoul Korea, Ms. Souh began studying piano at the age of three, Souh continued her education at Walnut Hill School for the Arts and the New England Conservatory Prep School in Boston where she received her diploma with highest honors, further earning B.M. from the New England Conservatory of Music and a M.M. from Seoul National University in piano performance

 

summa cum laude.

National and international award-winning pianists Hye Won Souh and So-Mang Jeagal are incredible solo artists. As a duo, they have a superbly unique onstage chemistry.
